February 2024: Release summary

We're delighted to share the latest updates and enhancements on Piclo. Below is a summary of the recent changes:

Improving FSP Experience:

Improved map interactions - Smaller competitions are now positioned above larger ones, making it easier to explore opportunities using the map.
Asset status and count on competition cards - Competition cards now display clearer icons and counts, showing the number of eligible assets at a glance for each competition.
Improved map navigation - Hovering over competition areas highlights which competition a click will select, providing immediate feedback for easier navigation.
Map filtering by system operator - Competitions can now be filtered by system operator.
Timezone handling and ENA product types - Automatically adjusts competition dates based on regional locale settings and adds ENA product types, ensuring accuracy and localisation.

API asset upload batch size increased from 10 to 100 - Boosts upload efficiency by increasing the batch size.

External links in qualification forms - Company qualification forms now support links to relevant external documents, making it easier to complete qualifications across different markets.
Checkbox option - A checkbox option is now available for company qualification questions, providing an intuitive and straightforward selection method.

Multiple competition selection for repeat - System operators can now repeat multiple competitions simultaneously, particularly valuable for any markets with weekly or daily competitions.
Competition behaviours - Introduces foundational changes for varied competition behaviours, allowing system operators to host diverse competition types, each with unique qualification criteria and customisable behaviours. When a qualification type is defined, any new competitions automatically inherit it.
Improving competition upload speed - Decouples the qualification process from competition save, increasing upload speed and reducing wait times.

Antivirus scan removed from downloads - The antivirus check has been removed from downloads, speeding up access to files.
Consolidated LCM dispatch email - Instead of receiving multiple emails per bid, FSPs now receive a single summary email for LCM competitions.
Competition automations - For competitions with tight turnaround times (e.g., day-ahead or intra-day), competitions can be configured with automations like "decline any bids by a certain time and archive the competition" if no constraints are needed for the day.
Completeness checking for meter data submitted via API - Enhances data completeness for settlement with API-submitted meter data.
Increased event volume in settlement - Enables greater scale in LCM by parallelising event processing.
